ATHLETICS
Our GOYA & JOY Athletics Program gives children the opportunity to build friendships, stay active, and connect with other Orthodox youth in a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. A highlight of the year is the annual GOYA/JOY Olympics, traditionally held on Long Island over Memorial Day weekend. The Olympics bring together Orthodox youth from different communities for a weekend centered on fellowship, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
There is something for every child and every skill level! Activities include basketball, soccer, kickball, softball, swimming, relay races, and other athletic events, as well as games such as chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe, and more. Throughout the year, our GOYA and JOY groups will also have opportunities to participate in friendly practices and activities as they prepare, learn new skills, and enjoy spending time together.
More information about practices, activities, and upcoming events will be shared throughout the year.
